Ok, I must copy ONE MORE blog from my Boresha blog. I am SO impressed with these products. My personal belief is they are the PERFECT compliment to any chiropractic practice because they PROMOTE HEALTH!  So after today, you’ll just have to subscribe to www.boreshafatburner.com to find out the latest!

As if my results posted in “my personal story” blog weren’t enough ~ I thought I’d let you in on the results achieved so far from my small uncontrolled study.  These are the results of people close to me that started taking the Boresha products around the same time that I did.

Chiropractic Network Marketing

When you hear the term “network marketing”, for some it’s like fingernails going down a chalkboard.  Do know how many people feel the same way about chiropractic?

Do you live in a dream world?

This week’s choice is about dreaming vs. doing.  Are you the type of person that says “I’ll be happy when….”, you move to the bigger house in the bigger neighborhood, when your kids get into the private school, when you hire an associate, when you open your satellite clinic.  When does it end?  I’m not talking about goals, but when you base your happiness on your achievements, yet you never reach the carrot dangled in front of your face.

Need help in your chiropractic practice?

I’m hoping you read the last blog about the chiropractor that lost all hope and the state of our profession.  I know today was supposed to be on character, but we’ll do that next time.  I wanted to let everyone know about a special opportunity available on a first come first served basis.

Is your mission a referral practice? – Part 3

I know asking for a referral can be a little overwhelming for some and it’s expecting you to step way out of your box.  I also know sometimes pride will get in the way because doctors don’t want to feel like they’re begging for patients.

AMC gives their doctors many, many tools to use that aid in asking patients for referrals and makes it really quite simple.  Often times it’s accomplished in such a way that you’re not directly asking, but the patient gets the idea from what you say to them.

Second (well, really this should be first), you’ll want to make sure your patients know HOW to convey that chiropractic can help their friend or family member.

Is your mission a referral practice? – Part 2

Your mission can’t go where the wind blows!  I doubt you’d be too successful.  These are not the same as goals.

Your mission statement will also hold you accountable (if you review it frequently).  I had the opportunity to observe a court proceeding not too long ago & the judge made a profound statement.  When the defendant asked about his probation ending, the judge replied “Probation never ends.  You’re on probation from the minute you’re born and will be on probation until you’re gone.”

Education in the Chiropractic Office – Part 3

I highly recommend doing some sort of new patient class along with educating per visit.  I’ve worked in practices that used these tools, and practices that did not.  There was a significant difference in the retention of patients.

Even in the practices that did both classes and educating each visit versus only educating per visit, there was a huge difference in the patient visit averages between patients that attended the classes and those that didn’t.

Education in the Chiropractic Office – Part 2

People that take their health seriously, will do research on chiropractic.  They will seek out the experts in a particular technique.  They will notice who is a diplomate, who has done extra study and who has not.

If you are taking your very expensive imported car somewhere for repairs, will you go to Junky Jack’s Repair Center or one that specialized in working with your particular make of vehicle?

Education in the Chiropractic Office – Part 1

Growing up, many of us are told that we won’t get very far in this life without a proper education.

While some can become multi-millionaires without more schooling than a high school diploma (if that), they still wouldn’t be where they are today without education.  Typically, someone took the time to educate them how to make money or they taught themselves how to do so.

I saw a clip of Ellen Degeneres making a speech to a graduating class at Tulane, she said “I didn’t go to college here.  As a matter of fact, I didn’t go to college.  Now I’m not saying that you wasted your time or money, but look at me – I’m a huge celebrity.”
